As of January 1, 2007 the population of the Dubrovno region was 19,090, of them 8,834 people lived in towns and 10,256 people lived in villages. The share of the able-bodied population is 11,035 people.
According to the 1999 census, there were 20,879 Belarusians, 1,282 Russians, 175 Ukrainians, 24 Poles, 12 Lithuanians, 7 Tatars, 110 people of other nationalities.
