Over 389,000 visa-waiver travelers visit Belarus since year-start

Since the start of the year 2023, over 389,000 residents of the neighboring EU states of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have taken advantage of the visa waiver to come to Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Since the start of this year, 389,214 tourists from the neighboring EU states have arrived in Belarus visa-free. This included 234,210 citizens of Lithuania, 89,550 citizens and 27,337 non-citizens of Latvia, and 38,117 Polish citizens.

Some 774,200 people from the neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus since the launch of the visa-waiver program, including 482,473 citizens of Lithuania, 54,216 non-citizens and 177,684 citizens of Latvia, and 59,827 Polish citizens.
