In the Chernyakhovsky Agricultural Enterprise, work is in full swing in the fields

And maybe even more of them, autumn work in the field. Autumn in the countryside is another "hot" time. Work is in full swing to prepare the soil for autumn sowing, plowing, the laying of the future harvest of winter grains is underway, corn is harvested for silage.
Corn is an essential component in the structure of the crop. Which is not surprising, because it is an excellent strategic reserve for the livestock sector of the farm. First of all, the crop is used for the production of concentrated feed.

We learned how things are going in the Chernyakhovsky Agricultural Plant with the harvesting of fodder during a meeting with Nikolay Soldatenko, the head of an agricultural enterprise, in a corn field near the village of Kozyany.

"Powerful equipment does not enter the fields from the very early morning. While the dew is standing, the plant is moist, so the machine operators are waiting for it to dry out a little. But then the work in the field lasts until the evening. The area for corn on the farm occupies 350 hectares, in the near future they will be harvested and laid in silage trenches," says Nikolay Antonovich.

It's nine in the morning, and work in the field is in full swing. All equipment is in service: tractors, MAZs and a forage harvester. A well-coordinated team works as a single organism. Behind the car with a full body of corn mass, the next one immediately drove up. A kind of corn conveyor. Everyone together performs a common task - to provide feed to the livestock of the farm in order to get a return on it in winter.
The JAGUAR 800 forage harvester is operated by Sergey Matalygin, a universal machine operator. In the spring, he treats crops with UAN at Rosa, works on tillage, and harvests crops on a combine. The entrusted equipment is prepared for entering the field conscientiously, inspects the main nodes daily, so it does not lead to the field.

"This year we have had a good harvest, it is a pleasure to work. We try to harvest 15 hectares a day, because with such a harvest, it takes only 10 minutes to fill the body of a car or tractor," the machine operator shares.

Harvesting at the Chernyakhovsky Agricultural Plant began on August 26, ahead of schedule: corn reached the optimal technological condition. On the morning of September 25, 254 hectares were harvested. In addition to Sergey Matalygin, who has already harvested 6917 tons, Sergey Fedorov (2379 tons), Oleg Sivitsky (484 tons) are working diligently. In total, 9780 tons of green mass were harvested.

The fact that the harvest in the Chernyakhovsky Agricultural Plant was born to the naked eye is visible to the naked eye. When asked what the secret is, Natalia Muratova, the foreman of the agricultural enterprise, answers that it is all about compliance with technologies.

"We bought high-quality seeds. For sowing corn, we applied organic fertilizers, properly prepared the soil, and sowed in the optimal time. As soon as the shoots began, they carried out treatment with UAN. That's the whole secret," says the foreman and notes: "The next important stage is the laying of silage trenches. Fresh green mass is immediately delivered to the place of canning by Sergey Shargaev, who transported 2833 tons, Vyacheslav Gubsky (2404 tons), Alexander Naumenko (2211 tons). Then it is compacted, and then covered with a layer of sealing material. Methods of such laying require attention and responsibility.

"At the moment, we have already laid three trenches, with a total volume of 9780 tons. Now we are laying the fourth trench. On average, it takes four days to plant. The green mass is compacted by two Amkodors," says the foreman.

Nikolay Soldatenko noted that in the face of a shortage of personnel, machine operators have to switch from one type of work to another during one working day. We were convinced of this after driving further, beyond the village of Kalinovka.

Here, behind the wall of corn, there are smooth shoots of winter rapeseed, and then endless fields, where the soil is being prepared for winter sowing. It is led by an experienced machine operator Oleg Sivitsky on an MTZ-3522 with an ADS-6 cultivator.

"I have been working on the farm for the ninth season. I was born in the village, so I can't imagine any other job for myself," says the machine operator, smiling. "Despite the fact that it is dry, I try to disc 30 hectares a day, with a norm of 20 hectares.

Where soil preparation has been completed, winter wheat is already being sown. This crucial stage was entrusted to Sergey Fedorov, who sowed the field in even rows on the MTZ 3522 tractor with the APP 6A seeder.
In order to ensure uninterrupted sowing, Andriy Shimanchuk is always nearby, in a ten-ton MAZ, ready to bring seeds for loading at the first call.

The management of the agricultural enterprise also took care of food for farmers. Lunches are delivered daily from the canteen. Hot and full-fledged, they are the best way to restore the energy balance of employees, because, as folk wisdom says, an empty stomach is an empty conversation.

This year, September pampered us with warm weather. But farmers do not relax, because before the onset of cold weather and rains, a large front of work has to be performed, which will be the key to successful wintering of livestock and a reliable foundation for next year's harvest.
