The funds allocated from the budget for the development of the hydrometeorological service, mitigation of climate change, improvement of the quality of atmospheric air and water resources, as well as for ensuring the functioning, development and improvement of the national environmental monitoring system in the republic were fully disbursed.

In addition, meteorologists earned money by providing meteorological services, conducting environmental monitoring, and issuing weather passports.

The close and fruitful cooperation of Vitebskoblhydromet with local institutions and organizations is evidenced by the presence at the meeting of representatives of, in particular, the branch of Belgosstrakh in the Vitebsk region, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Voronezh State University named after P. M. Masherov. They not only spoke about cooperation with meteorologists, but also thanked them for their joint work.

A pleasant moment was the presentation of Certificates of Honor and Gratitude of Belhydromet both to the entire staff of the branch represented by the head Andrey Makeev, and to his individual employees for a significant contribution to the overall success.
