Jubilee medals dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders were awarded in Polotsk

 

On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, a solemn presentation of medals to former minor prisoners of fascism on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders took place.

Chairman of the Polotsk District Executive Committee Igor Markovich, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Svetlana Odintsova, Military Commissar of the Polotsk Rossony District and the city of Novopolotsk Viktor Ryabchenko, representatives of the public visited Nadezhda Egorovna Taskaeva, Nadezhda Nikolaevna Ivanova, Valentina Andreevna Karpovich, Nadezhda Fedorovna Bunto.

Warm congratulations, medals, and most importantly - attention - and the eyes of the veterans sparkled with happiness.

Also, former minor prisoners of fascism were presented with congratulations from the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko - a triangle letter and gifts from the district organization of the RPA "Belaya Rus".
