During the season of the rise in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections, it is important to protect yourself and others from the development of the disease

Vaccination is the best solution.

Coronavirus continues to circulate among the population. The combination of COVID-19 and seasonal flu in humans is dangerous. Both viruses have the property of adversely affecting, first of all, lung tissue, causing pneumonia.

COVID-19 causes the following specific symptoms: fever, dry cough, fatigue, weakness. Some have headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, nasal flow, diarrhea. Approximately one in six patients suffers from the development of the consequences of coronavirus infection - difficulty breathing, which increases the risk of death.

The following groups of the population are most susceptible to the disease:

— persons with chronic diseases, including diseases of the bronchopulmonary system, cardiovascular system, tuberculosis, diabetes mellitus, obesity;

– persons with immunosuppression (immunodeficiencies, including HIV infection, autoimmune diseases, oncological and oncohematological diseases);

– persons over the age of 60;

– persons staying and working in institutions with a round-the-clock mode of stay.

In connection with the rise in the incidence of COVID-19 infection in the autumn-winter period, preparations are underway for booster vaccination of the population, which involves the administration of one dose of the vaccine containing current strains of the virus.
