A rescuer from Vitebsk became a prize-winner of the festival of power sports in Balashikha

Major of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Andrei Zhukov from Vitebsk worthily represented Belarus at the festival of power sports in Balashikha. This was reported to "Vitbichi" by the press service of the Vitebsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On February 23, Andrei Zhukov, an employee of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, took part in one of the prestigious festivals of power sports, which was held in Balashikha near Moscow. The tournament brought together the strongest athletes and amateurs who are ready to demonstrate their power, endurance and skill.

The competition program included four exercises, each of which required not only physical strength, but also iron endurance. Participants competed in lifting a heroic log, Apollo Axel's deadlift weighing 220 kilograms, lifting a barrel on his shoulder that weighed 100 kilograms and a farm walk with a weight of 120 kilograms in each hand.
