Vitaly Semikin: “The Vitebsk region is thoroughly preparing for the upcoming XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia”

    

The Vitebsk region is thoroughly preparing for the upcoming XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, which will be held at a high level. This confidence was expressed by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Federation Council Vitaly Semikin after getting acquainted with the facilities that will be involved in the event.

– The work is being carried out on a large scale, the readiness is good. I am confident that everything will be done on time, on time and at a high level ,” noted Vitaly Semikin. Over the course of two days, the Federation Council delegation visits three cities (Vitebsk, Polotsk and Novopolotsk), which will receive guests from different regions of the two countries. In particular, the Russian side was interested in the venues where plenary and section meetings would be held, accommodation and meals for forum participants, and the cultural program.

Representatives of the Federation Council Office visited the Summer Amphitheater and the Vitebsk Concert Hall, where construction work is currently underway. At Vitebsk Medical University, guests were interested in how the work of the section on innovations in medicine and pharmacy of the Union State would be organized.

– Our platform will be used to exchange experiences. It’s not for nothing that she’s a university student. The scientific and educational base is presented here, interaction in these areas is quite promising for our countries ,” said VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov.
