Belarus delivers 28,400 new apartments in January-September 2024
In January- September 2024, companies of all forms of ownership built 28,400 apartments. A total of 2,699,900 square meters of the total area of housing were commissioned, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
Belarus commissioned some 915,000 square meters of housing for people registered as in need of better living conditions, which accounted for 33.9% of the total housing commissioned. Some 590,600 square meters of such housing were subsidized by the government.
A total of 352,800 square meters of housing was commissioned for large families.
As to rural communities, 987,800 square meters of housing were delivered there, or 36.6% of homes commissioned in the country.
