Belarus and Oman confirmed their readiness to further increase contacts

On February 14, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleynik accepted copies of the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus part-time Hamud Salim Abdullah al-Tuwaikh. A BELTA correspondent was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention is paid to the development of trade and economic interaction between the two countries. They touched upon humanitarian issues, including cooperation in the fields of sports and tourism, as well as interaction in international organizations.

They also discussed bilateral events for the near future.  

The interlocutors confirmed their readiness to continue mutually respectful dialogue and further increase contacts in areas of mutual interest.
