Comprehensive classes with volunteers liable for military service were held in Polotsk
Comprehensive classes with those liable for military service, who previously served in the riot police and special units of the internal troops, took place on the basis of the Vitebsk special police detachment and military unit 5530 in Polotsk. This was reported by BelTA with reference to the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The event was one of those that are taking place as part of the implementation of the President's order to bring the army and the power bloc as a whole into perfect condition. So, at the opening of the training camp, the deputy head of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Sergey Mironchik stressed the importance of working out tactics of actions, demonstrating the cohesion of personnel.
Volunteers improved their skills in tactical, military-engineering and medical training, worked out the coherence of actions in suppressing mass riots. Also at the training ground, they honed the skills of shooting, working with UAVs, sappers, military topography, speed of action when storming enemy positions.
As the First Deputy Commander of the Internal Troops - Chief of Staff Alexander Bykov emphasized, in fulfillment of the instructions of the head of state, detachments of volunteers have been formed in each region. "By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, exercises have been organized with fighters who have gone on a well-deserved rest, but have not lost their fighting spirit and, if necessary, can stand shoulder to shoulder with employees and military personnel. Classes are conducted by well-trained instructors, professionals from among the representatives of the OMON of the Internal Affairs Directorate, and special units of the internal troops," he stated.
Participants of the training camp, riot police fighters and military personnel were presented with departmental awards.
