Circus studio "Dreamers" from Orsha was awarded the Grand Prix and a diploma of the first degree at the republican festival "Arena-STAR"
The exemplary circus studio "Dreamers" from Orsha was once again among the winners of the prestigious circus art competition. This time, young artists presented a solo program "Time Travel" at the 2nd open republican festival "Arena-STAR". For it, "Dreamers" were awarded the Grand Prix with the presentation of a valuable gift and a diploma of the first degree. Also, the Orsha team separately presented three solo performances - the game with hula-hoops "Hostesses", the canvases "Flash", balancing on reels "Chess Queen". These numbers received diplomas of laureates of the first degree.
"This is not the first time we participate in this festival-competition," said Svetlana Ravkovskaya, head of the exemplary circus studio. "It is designed to popularize circus art among children and youth in our country, to promote the exchange of experience and skills. "Arena-STAR" has become an important milestone in the development of the circus festival movement in Belarus, uniting amateur circus groups from all over the country. Last year, the "Dreamers" also won the Grand Prix and received a TV set for the number on straps "Eccentric" performed by Polina Boroshenko.
This year, 20 groups of the republic took part in the competition, presented about 90 performances of different genres in the capital.
