And the license was bought: in Vitsebsk, a driver was caught who had been driving with a fake license for 7 years

For seven years, a driver from Vitebsk drove on a fake license, and only recently he was brought to light.
Every day there are accidents in the country: now several cars "met", then a taxi did not pass the oncoming one, although the weather conditions are favorable, there is no ice, no snow. Even if a child or an adult always crosses the street in the prescribed place, observing all the rules of the road, there is no guarantee that a car will not fly out, the driver of which simply bought a license or drank before getting behind the wheel, without thinking about the consequences. And people will suffer.
- A Mercedes-Benz with Belarusian registration plates driven by a resident of Vitsebsk was stopped by a traffic police officer. When checking the documents, the officer had doubts about the authenticity of the driver's license of the Russian Federation, which the young man presented. For this reason, the document was sent to the Vitebsk Interdistrict Department of the State Committee for Forensic Examinations to conduct a forensic technical examination of the details of the document, - says the official representative of the State Committee for Forensic Examination in the Vitebsk region Natalia Romanova.
- Forensic experts of Vitebsk confirmed the doubts of the traffic police. According to the results of the study, it was established that the form of the driver's license of the Russian Federation was made by inkjet printing, the security elements were imitated. The owner of a fake driver's license admitted that he bought it in Russia back in 2018 for 30 thousand rubles from a man unknown to him. Police officers are conducting a check on this fact. Forensic experts remind that the legislation of the Republic of Belarus provides for criminal liability for the use of a knowingly forged document. People who buy rights should understand that sooner or later they will be held accountable.
