An important stage of the election campaign is coming to an end in the Polotsk region – the collection of signatures in support of the nomination of candidates for the President of the Republic of Belarus.
Pickets are very popular, the work of which is organized after hours, so that everyone has the opportunity to show their civic consciousness.
In the Manege shopping center, three pickets worked at once on a weekend. Members of the initiative groups actively communicated with visitors, and potential presidential candidates obtained signatures in support of their candidacy.
"Our citizens are literate, they understand the socio-political situation. That is why they come here to show their position," said Ivan Epishin, a member of one of the initiative groups.
The collection of signatures will last until December 6.
