The creation of a unified electronic information exchange system between the CIS Ministries of Justice was discussed in Minsk
On February 7, at the CIS headquarters in Minsk, a working meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS member states was held on the issue of creating a unified interstate electronic information exchange system between the ministries of justice of the CIS member states regarding the provision of legal services to the population. BELTA was informed about this by the legal department of the CIS Executive Committee.
The event, held in a video conference format, was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Justice and other interested bodies from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Belarusian Notary Chamber and employees of the CIS Executive Committee. This meeting was organized in pursuance of the work plan of the main events of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS member states for 2024.
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which chairs the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS member states since January 1, 2024, took the initiative to create a unified interstate electronic system for the exchange of information between the ministries of justice of the Commonwealth countries in terms of providing legal services to the population. The goal of creating and implementing a unified interstate electronic system is to increase efficiency in the provision of legal assistance to the population, as well as the efficiency of information exchange between the competent authorities of the Ministries of Justice of the CIS countries.
The workshop participants agreed to continue work to discuss this issue and hold additional consultations.
