Students from 60 countries study at the Belarusian State Medical University. This was announced by Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Belarusian State Medical University Vasily Rudenok during a video conference between the capitals of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union on the topic “Cooperation of the EAEU countries in the field of healthcare,” BELTA correspondent reports.“There are a huge number of people wishing to study at the undergraduate and postgraduate level at the Belarusian State Medical University. We have over 2 thousand foreign students from 60 countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan,” said the vice-rector.According to him, BSMU actively uses international inter-university cooperation: partners are medical universities, scientific and scientific-practical centers from all EAEU countries.“And, of course, in educational activities, in the training of future doctors, we use such a form of inter-university cooperation as academic mobility and network training. For example, at the moment a group of senior-year students of BSMU is on clinical practice at the North-Western State Medical University Mechnikov,” - said Vasily Rudenok.  “We hold joint conferences both for students and for students of advanced training courses, postgraduate doctors with our partners. Today, BSMU has over 150 partners in the EAEU countries - both medical universities and scientific and practical centers,” added Vice-Rector of BSMU.
