The Ministry of Architecture and Construction was visited by a delegation from the Primorsky Territory of the Russian Federation headed by Deputy Chairman of the regional government Vitaly Blotsky, BelTA was told in the press service of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture.

The parties discussed cooperation in the field of design and construction. The Russian side also proposed to consider the issue of locating import-substituting medical production facilities in Belarus.

“You already have experience of fruitful cooperation, in particular with our BelstroyTsentr. I am sure that we will continue to find common ground,” noted First Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction Oleg Shvets.

In turn, Vitaly Blotsky added that Belarusian specialists fully participated in the construction of a cultural and educational center on Russky Island. “This is 130 thousand square meters of educational buildings, dormitories, training bases. All this was built on time and with excellent quality, so we are happy to continue cooperation,” he emphasized.

Area of ​​interest of the Primorsky Territory: design of five huge sports facilities (three of which are on Russky Island and two in Vladivostok). This is an international level hockey center, a water sports center, an athletics arena, a boxing center, and a rhythmic gymnastics center.

In addition, the Russian side proposed to carry out preliminary work to consider the estimated cost of building a 400-bed infectious diseases hospital with an area of ​​almost 50 thousand square meters in the Primorsky Territory.

Representatives of regional executive committees, large organizations of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture and the Ministry of Health took part in the meeting via video.

The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to study the positive experience of design and construction of social facilities in Belarus with a visit to sports and healthcare facilities.
