Vitebsk Theological Seminary hosts a celebration for the children of clergymen

A celebration for the children of clergymen was held at the Vitebsk Theological Seminary.

The celebration for the children of clergy in the Vitebsk Theological Seminary actually drew a line under the events within the framework of the republican charity event "Our Children". The initiative to hold it came from the chairman of the regional Council of Deputies, the chairman of the regional organization of the public association "Belaya Rus" Dmitry Demidov.

"Not only organizations, institutions, enterprises and public organizations, but also clergymen joined the Our Children campaign," he said. "In addition, they promptly respond to the requests of representatives of the authorities during significant events. That is why we decided to thank them for their participation and work, as well as to congratulate their families and give gifts to children on these holidays, which are held under the sign of Christmas and Epiphany.

The participants of the action were also congratulated by the artists of the Belarusian theater "Lyalka". The holiday ended with a revived traditional batleyka of our area of the XIX century - the play "King Herod" was liked by both children and adults.
