Vitebsk experts "launched" the heart

People often die not from injuries, but because first aid was delayed. The inept actions of others, their confusion, delay entail the irreparable.

The ability of employees and civilian personnel of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations to act correctly in the first seconds of detection of life-threatening conditions in the victim, the ability to provide first aid to save a person's life before the arrival of doctors, can only be developed through constant training.

To this end, the management of the Department of the State Committee for the Vitebsk Region and the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University organized training for the entire forensic staff in the skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid in conditions that pose a threat to human life and health.

In a lively atmosphere, using simulators and simulators, some of which are not found outside the Vitebsk Medical University, groups of specialists from the State Committee began practical exercises, solving situational tasks of first aid.

Having divided into groups, Vitebsk experts, under the guidance of the head of the training center for practical training and simulation training, Candidate of medical Sciences, associate Professor Viktor Rednenko, attended a theoretical course and conducted a complex for providing pre-medical care in life-threatening and health-threatening conditions.

Modern online equipment made it possible to control the correctness of their actions, even the angle of application of the hands to the chest of the mannequin, the volume of air entering the lungs, and as a result, the ability of the trainees to "start" a real heart.

As a result of the hard work of forensic experts, resuscitation measures were completed successfully – the electronic heart started working.
