The opening of the III Children's Peacemaking festival "Children for Peace" took place in Gorodok district

The opening of the III Children's Peacemaking festival "Children for Peace" took place at the Losvido tourist and wellness complex in the Gorodok district.

Due to the fact that in 2023 our countrymen proposed the best youth project, on June 10-12 Vitebsk region welcomes young peacekeepers from all regions of Belarus. The guys will not be bored: they will have interesting quests, educational excursions and songs around the campfire. The organizers of the event and the guests of honor warmly welcomed the participants.

- Today, while walking around Vitebsk, I noticed a billboard with the words "Happiness does not happen much" and I absolutely agree with these words. Similarly, there is not much peace and confidence in the future," said Maxim Miskov, Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Peace Foundation. - I urge each of you to fight for peace with kindness, love and mercy.

Traditionally, it is very difficult for the jury to choose the winners of the children's peacemaking festival, because each region has prepared a rich program with deep meaning. The children's eyes shone with a sincere desire to do good and make the world a better place.

- Regardless of which region will be recognized as the best, we sincerely thank the authors of each project, - summed up Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. - I hope that this festival will help young men and girls from different regions to make friends and unite in the struggle for peace.
