Rally, quizzes, sports contests. How the Day of Belarusian Student Brigades will be held in the Vitebsk region

More than four dozen events dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Student Brigades will be held in the districts of the Vitebsk region. This was reported to BelTA by the Vitebsk regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.

Student brigades of the northern region will gather Polotsk today for the regional rally "Time has chosen us". Under the same title, an open dialogue will be held here, at which young people will discuss topical issues of concern. Experienced children will share details about the life of the student brigade with schoolchildren so that they are also charged with the atmosphere of movement and join it after entering the university with knowledge. An integral part of many events of the public association are commemorative actions and projects. The participants of the rally will gather for a rally and lay flowers at the monument to the Liberators of Polotsk. Later, they will have an intellectual quiz-BSO, a team building game. In addition, young people will go to the branch "Vesna-Energo" of the RUE "Vitebskenergo", where they will get acquainted with the work of the enterprise and join the labor action "For Business!". The meeting will end with a big concert and a sightseeing tour of the Museum of the History of Architecture of St. Sophia Cathedral.

Thursday will be busy for young people throughout the Vitebsk region. Fighters of student brigades of Vitebsk, Senno and Postavy districts are waiting for laser tag competitions. In the Gorodok and Rossony regions, the best will be determined at the Spartakiad, in Tolochin they will hold a youth show "Time of Opportunities", and in Glubokoe they will launch a quest game "Five Keys".

Separate festive events are scheduled for August 2. In the Magistral health camp near Vitebsk, the city festival of creativity of student teams awaits the children. The fighters will do public exercises, pass the GTO standards. Here, for lovers of all kinds of activities, competitions and interactive sites are organized.

On Friday, the youth of the Orsha district will hold the Day of Belarusian Student Brigades in the children's health camp "Lenok". And more than 70 participants - fighters of student brigades of the Verkhnedvinsk district will join the sports in the local specialized children's and youth school of the Olympic reserve.

"The student brigade movement, thanks to the attention and support from the head of state and the guys themselves, is gaining popularity. Young people take any initiative into account. And a big plus is that today the guys themselves propose projects and want to work. They come with ideas to organize festivals, actions, so that they do not just come to work at the machine at the plant, but so that their student brigade life is rich and interesting," said Zhanna Naritsyna, First Secretary of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. "To date, we have employed more than 2 thousand young guys."

Zhanna Naritsyna noted that this is not the limit, because the Vitebsk region "always takes on autumn employment", when numerous agricultural detachments go to work in the fields and help farmers. The student brigade movement will definitely develop and grow, the first secretary of the regional committee is sure. The Belarusian Republican Youth Union plans to continue to support the initiative, help the children in any undertakings and ideas for the development of the BSO.

The Day of Belarusian Student Brigades is celebrated on August 1.
