Natalia Kochanova sent congratulations on the Day of the City of Polotsk and the centenary of the Polotsk district

Natalia Kochanova, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, honorary citizen of the Polotsk district, congratulated the residents of Polotsk on the City Day and the centenary of the Polotsk district.

It is deeply symbolic that this year the glorious dates of the legendary and heroic chronicle of the Polotsk land coincided with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. Thanks to the dedication and courage, solidarity and unity of our fathers and grandfathers, the native land continued to show its spiritual greatness and unsurpassed beauty to the world, to delight with progressive development and striving for perfection.

I bow low to all of you, dear fellow countrymen, who defended our Fatherland on the battlefields, restored the country bit by bit in the post-war period, laid a solid foundation for modern achievements with daily conscientious work, and today, with undisguised pride about the past, confidently steps into the future, passing the creative baton of the generation of winners to the youth.
