Ministry of Labor: Internet users will be able to choose the best "Family of the Year"

Internet users will be able to choose the best family of the year from among the finalists of the Family of the Year competition, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The Ministry of Labor reported that during the first meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the final of the VI Republican competition "Family of the Year" in 2024, it was decided that, in addition to the professional jury, Internet users will also be able to choose the best family for the first time.

Voting will take place in September on the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Labor. The results of the voting will be announced on October 11 - on the day of the final of the "Family of the Year" competition.

During the meeting, an action plan for the preparation and holding of the final of the republican competition "Family of the Year" was also approved, proposals for the composition of the jury of the competition and the program of the stay of the finalist families in Minsk were considered.

The Republican Contest "Family of the Year" is being held in Belarus for the sixth time - the first was held in 2012. This year, more than 440 families took part in the qualifying stages of the competition, 58 of them fought for reaching the finals, including 6 families from the Brest region, 5 from the Vitebsk region, 6 from the Gomel region, 19 from the Grodno region, 9 from Minsk, 7 from the Minsk region, and 6 from the Mogilev region.

The competition is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection with the support of the Belarusian Women's Union, the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the participation of the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Culture, regional and Minsk City Executive Committees.
