Belarus, South Korea confirm readiness for cultural exchanges

 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Chernetsky attended the opening of the exhibition of Korean traditional art Minhwa Bloomed in Gwanghwamun Square, organized by the country's Multiculture Museum on 10 May, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Seoul.

The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the exhibition and emphasized the importance of preserving national art. During the informal part of the event the organizers introduced the guests to the Korean traditional art and presented the samples of the Korean folk art Minhwa.

During the talks with the Director of the Multiculture Museum of the Republic of Korea Kim Yun-Tae, the parties confirmed their intention to develop cooperation in cultural exchanges.
