"In our department, which regulates all sectors of the economy, an exclusively female team works. And we are a team of like-minded people," says Alesya Kornacheva, head of the Department of Economics, who has been heading this division of the district executive committee since 2018, and has been working in this structure since 2009.

Attentiveness, the desire to improve the level of business competence, the ability to analyze information, think for the future and competently set tasks are the main qualities that employees of the Department of Economics have. Deputy, first assistant to the head of the department and the creator of the mood in the team is Natalia Maslenikova. The scope of her professional activity includes issues of export, import, small and medium-sized businesses. Among the experienced specialists is Alesya Terzyan, who has been working here since 2010, supervising the management and disposal of communal property. She is a lawyer by education and a guardian of the legislative foundations of the department. Investment projects and innovations are handled by Yulia Anushchenko, a creative and positive person. And a year ago, Tatyana Kulinok, who deals with finance and calculations, moved from the department of trade and services of the district executive committee to the department of economics. This, as the head of the department notes, is the very embodiment of punctuality, balance and goodwill.

What is interesting about the work of specialists in the Department of Economics? For example, the fact that they have information about all significant projects that are being implemented in the Polotsk region. Economist's Day is only on Sunday, and Alesya Kornacheva and Natalia Maslenikova have already received congratulations this week: the successful completion of their master's degree in business administration at Polotsk State University has become an important event for them and inspires them to new successes.
