A solemn Council of Vitebsk State Medical University dedicated to the graduation of 770 students was held at the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers in Vitebsk. Diplomas were awarded to the 19th graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry, the 61st - pharmacists of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the 82nd – doctors of the Faculty of Medicine, the 38th - "doctors of medicine", the 29th – pharmacists and the 19th graduate of the "doctors of Dentistry" of the Faculty of training foreign citizens.

The graduates were congratulated by the rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov on a significant event in their lives.

– Congratulations on your successful graduation from our university. You are starting your own path into a profession – the most beautiful and noble of all. I am sure that the knowledge and skills acquired over the years of study will help you cope with any professional challenges. The teachers who have taught you everything they know and are able to do themselves are proud of you today. Do not forget them and remember that a doctor studies all his life! Set great goals for yourself, do not be afraid of difficult tasks and may luck accompany you in everything. I am sure that wherever you work, you will worthily carry the title of graduate of Vitebsk State Medical University. Good luck, dear graduates!

Vladimir Plytkevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BPRZ, presented the gratitude of the branch trade union for high academic achievements and for participation in the work of the primary trade union organization of the VSMU.
