The main wealth of Belarus is people, and the priority task of the state is to take care of them. In the vertical power system, great importance is attached to issues of ensuring everyday, real care for a person. And, first of all, all the work of district and rural executive committees and Councils of Deputies is focused on improving the quality of life of the population.
— Visiting rural settlements, discussing problems on the ground help to remove many questions, because when the essence of the problem is known, it can be solved in the shortest possible time. The established system for holding Days of Work with the Population in the Dubrovensky District yields positive results. In just two weeks of August, government representatives held 25 meetings with residents of the Pirogovsky Village Council. We must definitely go to the people, — emphasized the chairperson of the Dubrovensky District Council of Deputies Elena Tikhonova at the final meeting in the district executive committee, the purpose of which was to summarize the questions received from the population and develop a plan for their solution.
It should be noted that there were quite a few appeals from residents of the village council. This confirms that people are not indifferent to what is happening around them, trust the local authorities, go to them with their concerns and proposals and are confident that problems will be solved.
Thus, during a personal reception of the chairman of the district executive committee Anatoly Lukashov, residents of the agro-town of Buda voiced a number of issues that require solutions. And the main one is the quality of water in the settlement. Thanks to the efforts of the Smirnov Agricultural Fund, the water supply systems have been transferred to the balance sheet of Orshavodokanal. The specialized organization has already carried out the necessary work to replace and repair pipelines. Now the pressure and uninterrupted supply of water are ensured. But for quality, it is necessary to build an iron removal station. It is planned for next year.
A resident of Buda who contacted the head of the district reported that her house and plot bordered on the lands of the UP ZhKH Dubrovno-Kommunalnik, where the organization stores firewood. The woman noted that the territory of the enterprise is not fenced, and garbage and weeds, ruts and potholes after the passage of heavy equipment create an unsightly picture, and the vegetable garden suffers from the large amount of water accumulating on the plot. Anatoly Ivanovich went to the site and instructed the management of the UP ZhKH Dubrovno-Kommunalnik to rectify the situation.
Residents who came to the reception also raised the issue of trade services.
— Our settlement is located on the international highway M1, and the consumer cooperative store has virtually no choice of goods. Not only Belarusians stop by, but also Russians who love and appreciate Belarusian products, but cannot buy from us. And there are problems with souvenirs. And we, local residents, have to go to the city to shop. I would like rural residents to have a sufficient choice of goods, — the women expressed their wish.
Overall, the reception with the chairman was active and eventful. All those who addressed not only spoke about shortcomings, but also expressed wishes and proposals for improving people's lives and the work of organizations and enterprises.
Thus, Natalya Shmatova drew attention to the fact that the agricultural enterprise cannot restore order to the lands that were previously used by residents as household plots.
— There are weeds, and next to them there is a farm, haystacks, and in hot weather it is not far from disaster. About 9 hectares are empty, not used. But the Year of Quality has been declared, such an attitude to the matter is no good, — Natalya Petrovna expressed her opinion about the work of the Smirnov Agricultural Foundation.
Before retiring, she worked on the farm and now worries about her native agricultural enterprise, so she periodically shares advice on how to improve the industry. Anatoly Lukashov gave the manager Sergey Nikitin the task of correcting the situation on the spot.
Meetings with the population helped representatives of various services and organizations of the district to receive feedback and adjust their future work. It is gratifying that many residents received answers to their questions immediately, without resorting to writing letters and applications to various authorities and without wasting time. For example, already during the off-site meetings, issues were resolved regarding the purchase of lumber, unscheduled delivery of a gas cylinder to a mother on maternity leave, the conditions and opportunities for employment of the unemployed were explained, and others.
However, it should be noted that information work with the local population should not be carried out only during the Village Council Work Days. This is, first of all, the task of local self-government bodies - the village executive committee, deputies and elders. They should talk about what is happening on the territory of the village council, suggest where to go if questions arise, help in filing applications and explain what consequences await violators of order and negligent owners. And in this direction, according to the chairman of the district Council of Deputies, work should be intensified.
— Organize citizens' meetings, create information stands, hold meetings with people and talk to them. Help implement initiatives and don't forget about preventive work, — Elena Tikhonova emphasized.
“In general, the ability to talk to people, to hear them, to value and respect each person is the most important thing in successfully resolving any issue,” the head of the district, Anatoly Lukashov, summed up the meeting.
